Considering Gibson Exhaust, Which One?

I have a 2016 2500 LTZ that I've already done a Blackbear tune on and I'm getting ready to go with a Gibson exhaust (I've looked at all the others and decided on Gibson), the question is, which one?

Duel side exit (part #5650,) dual rear under the bumper (#5551), or behind the tires (#5652)?  If anyone has experience with these I'd like to hear from you. I don't want a system that drones in the cab. I had an MBRP single on my 1500 and it was okay, it had a drone at hwy speeds but became a little much after while.

Sidenote, if you're looking for a custom and not "canned" tune, hit up Blackbear, absolutely love the gains. Biggest is mpg increase, floating around 16 now on strictly hwy. Of course I can't  complain about the seat if the pants feel with the tranny remap, hp, and torque gains.

5652 all the way!

You have this on yours? How do you like it?

I've found that behind the wheels, the tips get a lot of debris thrown at them, and some things get melted onto the tips.  If you don't care about how they end up looking, go with those out behind the tires.  I have had both, out behind the tires and out below the rear bumper.  I like mine out the back under the bumper.  Just my preference tho.

I do like the under the bumper idea. The MBRP on my 1500 was a side dump and was constantly getting junk on it.

I have fabricated duals out the back of my truck with dual Bowtie 4" (I think) tips on them.  Sound good, and look good usually.  Truck is dirty right now, but you understand.

What muffler are you running?

There is a resonator under the passenger side of the cab, up front like under the passenger front seat.  From  just behind that resonator a few inches, my exhaust is split into duals with no muffler all the way to the rear bumper.  Not loud, no drone, no expensive muffler.

Wow, I can't believe there's no drone without a muffler....and it's not super loud either? What size pipe are the duals?

There is nothing for the exhaust to resonate off of without a muffler.  I looked at it again, and there is a little bit of single pipe after the resonator under the cab.  The "Y" split is about the front of the box.  From that "Y" it is 2, 2 and a half inch pipes into two four inch bowtie tips.  I have taken a couple videos on my phone, but I don't know what to do with them.  I have sent via text before.  If you are interested PM me your number and I will send them to you.

So I went in a completely different direction and did a cut/paste with Flowmaster #953558. Direct fit with 3.5 in and out.

Overall I'm pleased, nice rumble during acceleration with a slight drone around 1800 rpm under load. Highway at 70 is barely noticeable over the hum of the tires but you can still that it's there.

Here Is the link for the muffler.

I have the dual out under the bumper and love it. No drone and quiet unless you get on it, then it speaks up .
