Horn went out

So today horn seems fine.  I popped the hood and placed my hand on both sections of the horn while hitting the panic button on the fob and it seems both sections are generating noise.

Bump, I have the exact same issue and it is starting to occur more and get annoying. Any update on this problem?

My horn went out intermittently. 

Turns out the connection at the horn had corrosion on the plug. It’s a real pain to get to as it is tucked away up high in the bumper. I used a long thin blade screwdriver to release the plug from the horn. I used coke in a spray bottle to eat away the green corrosion. Spay on a few times and let soak then spray with electric parts cleaner. It’s impossible to get in there with a small brush. Hope this helps.

My 17 GMC Sierra horn gets stuck on. Have to pull the fuse to stop it. It doesn’t happen all the time so it never replicated at the dealer. Any ideas? I can’t find the relay, don’t think it has one.

I noticed my horn not working while locking my doors. And now it doesn’t work while hitting the wheel. I can hear the integrated relay click and the horns bench test great. No corrosion at the connections and there’s 12 Volts at the horn plug. no clue what’s going on.

Maybe verify that the ground connection for the horn is also good?

I would if I knew where it’s grounded. That’s a possible.  This is driving me crazy. Dang Germlins

I narrowed it down to the intergraded relay and or the fuse block. No power to the fuse when the horn is pressed but it does activate the relay. I have a new fuse block coming from Grandrud for $150.00

Upadate. I changed the Fuse Block and it solved the horn issue. Still can’t believe they don’t have a replaceable relay.

2014 GMC Sierra SLE:  My horn stays ON!! Had to pull the fuse to shut it off!! Any ideas??
