New to GM

Hey everyone,

Long time truck owner, but this is my first GMC.  Bought a '17 Z71 4x4 Crew Cab, and I'm in love.  Previously owned a Titan, put 200k miles on it.  Hoping to get that with this truck if not more. This truck is more than I could ask for.  Not one option left behind it seems.  I look forward to learning more about the truck through this forum and help on future upgrades.  Leveling kits, lifts, wheels, tires, etc.

For now, I would like to replace the license plate and reverse light with a nice LED.  Does anyone know if it will give the truck an error code?

I too have a 2017 Sierra. I switched out the cargo lamp, license plate, and reverse lamp bulbs with LED. No issues with the switch.

Great to hear. Did you by chance get the CANBUS LED’s or just regular LED’s?
