Hey y’all

Haven’t posted much, but I lurk often.

I’m a long time car dealer and Tahoe K5 owner. Over the years, towing my Stratos bass boat I tried all sorts of tires, expensive ones too !

I bought this current Tahoe about 6 years ago with only 26K on it. Needing tires, my brother, also a car dealer, tells me to put Mastercraft Coursier MSR tires on it. I mainly use this truck to get to my hunt camp, a 2 hour drive with plenty off the grid driving of muddy Everglades type.

The MSR did awesome and won me over as the best tire I’ve used on a Tahoe. Wore that set off and went back to Mastercraft and bought a little extra off trail tread, I think XT ? They too were bulletproof!

Now I have 110k on her and just went back to the MSR again. I was against the MSR because they are studdable which I don’t need. But they ride so well in this rain.

Yesterday we were under a Tropical Depression once again and it rained all day. Camp was flooded. I just put the new treads on Friday and the had 120 miles on them, lol. Didn’t spin a tire, never used 4x4 and they held the road all the way home @ 65-75 mph with plenty of road puddles and never lifted a hydro at all.

They are a little known tire, but if you’re not happy with the array of Michellins, GoodYears or Goodrich, I really recommend you try these on your full size GM suv [emoji592]/pick up truck.

I needed 2 tires for the front on my Buick laSabre this summer and the mechanic recommended the Mastercraft tires and said they were fairly inexpensive and the people who bought them from him had given good reports on them, so I went with them. I'm glad you posted this because I'll be needing 4 new tires on my Sierra next year and had never given them a thought for the pickup. It's got BFG Long Trails on it now and I will surely be considering the Mastercrafts.

Trust me, you won’t be regretting the move to Mastercraft. Goodrich is what a Tahoe came with from the factory. They wear like sheeeeeeet , worse than Michelin.
