2003 Silverado not starting

I’m having some starting issues with it. I can’t start it with the key, I have a remote start that worked fine until tonight.

I got a new amp for my subwoofer setup. I disconnected the battery, installed the amp, reconnected the battery, and now it won’t start. It starts for a second and then dies. I have looked around on here and have read about the anti theft system being the cause of some issues. I came across this site and wondered if anyone else has used this before. http://newrockies.com/?ap_id=bypass&gclid=CIjh_8-GxK0CFcJgTAodO22VNw

Any help is greatly appreciated

if its aftermarket then your factory theft system has more than likely been bypassed already or the object that bypasses it from the remote start has failed. I would look more into the remote start being the culprit.

I get that but its just coincidence unless you shorted something out changing the amp, blew a fuse etc. if it starts and then dies instantly it could be any sort of ignition problem which the remote start has control over and if there is built in theft deterrent it would have had to be bypassed by the remote start to be able to start the truck.

So I got the Lemur BlueDriver scanner. This is what it shows for the B code. Pretty cool device actually.

Well, after pulling hair out, I broke down and called the dealership. My neighbor is good friends with the General Manager and he was able to help me out. They reset the Passlock system and found a lose wire that was associated with the Passlock system *shrug*. So long story short, truck has come home and runs better than it has in a while.

Thanks for all the input from everyone on here!
