New Engine noise

Today, I relized after I got home, my engine is making a new noise that I haven't heard before. It's not very loud but it's noticeable at idle.
 
This sound is not the fast ticking sound of the fuel injectors. Its a slow click every 2 seconds or so. The sound is synchronized and not erratic.
 
Anyone have any idea as to what this might be. It's a 2016 Silverado with 24k miles.

Is it coming from the front or towards the fuel tank at the back drivers side?

It's coming from the front. Sounds like the drivers side.

Its the Direct Injection pump. Mine does it too.....was more noticeable when temps reached freezing.
Oh OK. Yea. It's just gotten in the high 30's here in MD.

Wonder why the colder temp causes it. Also, does the sound mean it's going bad or is it just normal for a direct injected motor?
