2017 Silverado 17K 3 bad tires

Took my 17 1500 in for the 5th time since it was new for numerous things.

1. Exhaust squeak  (Fixed with new Exhaust)

2. Rear quarter panel paint issue.  (Rear Quarter repainted)

3. head lights loose  (Never fixed)

4. Center console rattle  (Never Fixed)

5. Drivers rear axle seal leak

6. The 80 MPH chevy Shake.

 

The truck is still in the shop for the Axle leak and they are tell me that after road force balancing my tires that I have 3 bad at 17k.  They said this is what is causing my vibration from the rear at 80 mph.

 

GM will only prorate these and now I need to pay $315 out of pocket to replace these tires.  

 

Sorry just a rant.

 

First GM Product after owning 6 Rams since 1994.  Not very impressed.

That's sort of what I thought. Very interesting that the dealer is telling me that the proration and half the money is it going to be paid by GM

i had the same thing, i complained about shake on mu 14 from 10,000km (not miles..) finally at about 18000 they decided 1 tire was bad, i had them replace a 2nd so i had matching tire wear..unfortunately out of pocket....

the tire they covered cost me about$100 pro rated...what sucks about that is full price was only 150...

 

the stock tires suck, i switched to duratracs, more shake but way better tire.
