7 pin trailer 12+

I read on some older models that they needed a fuse to be inserted for the 12+ to work. I have a 15 2500 silverado and was wondering if i needed a fuse or it was already there. Not home to check with meter. Thx

Fuse is already there and wires already hooked up from factory.

Warmed up a little here just checked. Have 12v

My 08 I had to hook the wire up to the fuse block under hood. Wire was there just taped back. On my 15 it worked from the get-go.

I have a 15 too, 12v with ignition off as well
