adding lane departure

I am having  a hard time getting answers for this. I have a 2017 Z71 LTZ. it has front and back parking warning. I found a switch with all my option's with this lane departure. I did some checking and seen there is a module on left front dash I think. This I saw on part list. Do you know if I can add this feature to my truck and if so maybe you can tell me what I need to add. Thanks for any help.

I would think at the very least it will require a programming change to the bcm once you have all the correct parts on your truck.  When you saw that parts listing was there just one wiring harness number, or did they show a different harness when lane departure RPO was present?  

Your best bet would be to go to the local dealers parts counter and see if they will sell you the missing module.  The reason I suggest this is that when I tried to purchase the in dash trailer brake controller for my 2010 truck that did not have it factory installed, the parts guy showed me a message they had received from GM that said you could not just install that module due to multiple different components being required when factory trailer brake controller was ordered.  Would not surprise me if the lane departure also requires some slightly different sensors to operate correctly.

Ok thanks. One dealer had no clue. He said to find a truck the same year with lane departure and then start looking at diagrams from both. the  diagram was showing two different module for the front left side of dash. But I did read you need front and back parking asst which I have. I guess I'll have to check some more. Thanks for the reply
