SiriusXM antenna upgrade

Hey all,

I was wondering if there are any satellite radio antenna upgrades out there to improve reception? I have a 2011 silverado and the reception is much easier disturbed by trees and other objects compared to my company truck, a 2017 f150. I assume the antenna is to blame, as I have experienced the same reception difficulties in other silverado's of the same generation.

I wonder if you could get an adapter and use a basic Xm antenna? I did that in one of my cars and it works a lot better.
