memory seat recall Auto seat recall

My 2015 Yukon Denali would recall my seat position when I unlocked the doors with the FOB.  My 2018 Yukon Denali wont recall the position until I get in and press the start button, which is a major issue since I cant squeeze in after my wife drives the vehicle.  Was this a change from 2015?  Is there something I can do other than using the easy exit option? If this was a change it was a BAD idea..

Perhaps there is a setting in the DIC for this.  Have you checked the owners manual?

I experienced the same issue.  There is another setting button next to 1,2, and set.  That is the setting for the seat return when you shut off the engine and open the door.  I set mine the same as my seat setting.  That way the seat is set for me when I enter the truck, and the seat goes back so my wife can easily exit after driving.
