Lightbar Addition

Hey Everyone,

 

So I finally want to make the plunge and add a  lightbar to the grill of my '16 sierra. One of the things I would like to do is have the lightbar be controlled wirelessly by the garage opener. Anyone have any recommendations on a wireless module and lightbar?

So I finally want to make the plunge and add a  lightbar to the grill of my '16 sierra. One of the things I would like to do is have the lightbar be controlled wirelessly by the garage opener. Anyone have any recommendations on a wireless module and lightbar? 

I got a wireless module off of Amazon that comes with its own key fob. Just my 2 cents and for the light bar i got the rough country kit for my 2015 Silverado but I think yours will have the active grille shutters and will make it hard to install behind the grille.

Well that’s nice! I went with the rough country just because it was all bolt on. No cutting or modifications required. I paid a little extra compared to some light bars but it’s worth it in my opinion. 30” curved dual row light bar.

I have some pics of my light bar install here, I did wired though.   I wanted no delay in turning on/off my lights.
