I did new plugs, wires, air cleaner and  belts etc . Number 8 was easier than what I was expecting after seeing some youtubers complain. I have a 93 Corvette with headers so plugs can be challenging.

I used a standard spark plug socket with a 3/4 socket on it to work number 8. And, I also had a 4 inch long 1/2 drive 5/8s socket too. Both of them made access easy. I used the 1/2 drive as it gave me more leverage being it as I was laying on the engine, per se.

Engine runs no different, and considering there was 108000 miles on the plugs and wires, everything was pretty clean. The plug wires had GMs dieletric grease inside. The plugs looked good, all had same burn pattern, and were light tan, with a hint of pre ignition on all of them..

Other than that, I will see over time if there is any real difference in fuel economy, which I doubt as these new engines and management are pretty good.

I bought my 2010 with 103k and did the plugs, they all looked good as well. I noticed my idle was smoother but only for a little while.
