5.3l vortec swap

Hey guys, this might be a dumb question but I was wondering, I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado z71 with the 5.3l iron block and from the factory she’s puts out 295 hp, not anymore ;) but back to topic, I hit a mud hole and the cai I have on it sucked water and snapped a rod so I got a 5.3l iron block out of a 2000 Chevy  suburban and from the factory they push 285, did they get that extra 10hp from just tuning with the computer and injectors? I’m gonna be putting everything off my 2004s motor on to the 2000 surburbans motor besides the heads, so would my truck still pretty much push the same amount of power with it just being a different year model block?

you wont notice the 10 hp no matter where they got it from but more than likely yes, its in the tuning
