Hidden spare key

BTW, the doors will not lock if the keys are in the ignition.

Unless you pull the key just enough to silence the door dinger.

I use the app all the time and lock my keys inside, though on one occasion the app decided to crap out. I restarted my phone and even reinstalled the app, no dice. I ended up taking a work truck home and bringing the spare key to work the next day. Haven’t locked my keys in since, but still use the app for remote start, and when you’re in a store and can’t remember if I locked it or not...

There is pretty much zero risk in hiding a key. I could think of atleast a dozen places nobody but a mexican/us border patrol would ever find.

 

nobody would look for it, and even if they did, nearly impossible to find
