Locks Going Batsh** Crazy on 2018 Silverado 2500

I have a new 2018 2500 that now has 5,000 miles on it.  In the past few days my locks have gone batshi* crazy.

1. If the truck is locked and I hit unlock on the remote, all of the doors relock.

2. I put it in park (doors auto unlocked), turned it off, took the keys with me, went around to open the kids passenger door and the alarm went off.

3. Left the truck running with the keys in the ignition to de-ice the truck and the doors locked at some point.

4. Turned the truck off, left the keys on the center console, opened the driver door some time later to get the keys and all of the doors immediately locked.

Any thoughts?  Maybe it's just software?  When it was brand new (under 50 miles)  the doors relocked a few times when I was driving at 50+ mph and then things seemed to settle down.

While I do believe most of the newer trucks offer some sort of lock and unlock settings that you should be able to adjust for how you'd like the locks to work/activate in a general matter of design, Your description sounds about reverse of general design so most probable case is there is a program setting within one of the lock features of something I'll unofficially name 'Vehicle door lock control command modules' or maybecalled BCM (Body Control Module)... Please know this is just a guess/thought on my part but I'd have to believe a GM dealer would have to do a reprogram to one of the modules which is done through the main PCM system as a starting point.

Does the issue seem intermittent or continuous?

Below is some really good info of what the BCM controls as one of the lists is long.

I had a 2004 duramax that kept locking the keys in the ignition. according to the dealer I was the only one in the whole world that had this problem. never got it fixed after multiple times to the dealer and finially one tow, because I don't think they believed me. reprogrammed the computer to never lock the doors and it never did it again. but I had a hideaway key just in case. now how could it lock the doors with the key in the ignition and not running?
