2000 k2500 old style

I would like to know if my 2000 k2500 5.7 ( old style ) is the same as 1998 -99 in all respects, such as ignition, injection (spider injectors) and all other systems and specifications. All info I seem to find about year 2000 has to do with the Silverado models

Yeah they're basically the same.  Most referred to as the 2000 Chevy K2500 classic.  Because its a 3/4 ton truck GM tends to lag behind and release.  Most likely built early in the production year.  5.7 engine.  When looking for parts or something find the K2500 designation not the silverado 2500.  K is the old term for 4wd and C is for 2WD.

Your 2000 year truck is a GMT400. Shares interior parts with 96-98 half ton k1500 trucks. GMT400 exterior body style ran from 1988 - 1998. 2500 / 3500 trucks were produced until year 2000.
