2017 sierra denali/ oil leak

Any issues with rear main seal leaks on these motors 6.2, under 4k miles. Also when you do oil change/ free oil change for new vehicles thru dealership do they use synthetic oil?

What does happen allot is the grease monkey that didn't finish sixth grade and paid minimum wage spills oil all over the cross member and lower shield making it look like there is a hole in the pan.

Never changed oil yet, doing first oil change this weekend

Go to dealership. Warranty.

Wouldn't change the oil until you have the dealer look at the leak.  Let them handle the oil change under warranty if the pan needs to dropped.  The leak could also be the pan gasket at the rear.
