Weird tire pressure sensor readings while towing trailer.

We are on a trip to El Paso TX and Nevada for vacation.  We are towing our 25 ft SolAire7 and all of a sudden I get a warning on the left front tire pressure sensor. I stop and all is ok so we keep going. The warning disappears then reappears for the left rear tire.    Pull over again and no trouble. We go on, the warning disappears then reappears for (you guessed it) another tire.  This keeps up the whole trip for various tire sensors except the right rear.  I figure I will have Chevy check it when we get home. 

 

We arrive in El Paso and park in an RV Park.  The next morning, the sensors behave normally.  No issues at all.  The only difference is no trailer and my wife is not with me for the time the sensors are behaving. 

 

It sounds like something is interfering with the signals from the sensors.  What was curious was that my phone wouldn't connect to Bluetooth or the MyChevrolet app.  My wife's phone had its Bluetooth on at the time, so disabled it.  Once I was away from the trailer, the truck behaves alright.  Could this be interference from her phone and Bluetooth?

New trailer? Does it have LED running lights? Some people have experienced interference (believed to be electromagnetic interference)  with the reverse cam after installing certain LED reverse lights. 

 

Hyundai seems to think this is a possible problem?

Trailer is a 2015 that we bought new.  The lights are all conventional filament bulbs.   The trailer doesn't have reverse lights.  I will keep the LED light issue in mind, though.

 

I'm thinking it might have been the Bluetooth conflict that set up the problem by interfering with the signals from the sensors.  We will continue our trip west on Wednesday morning so I will watch it any odd behavior.

The TPMS sensors do sometimes pick up interference and pop up bogus warnings.  If I go from my brother-in-laws in Georgia to Panama City Florida my TPMS sensors trip every time in and around the same area.  This has happened on three different GM vehicles and only around that area. So something is transmitting hard or some sort of magnetic interference.

 

Unless this happens all of the time I would say you are seeing what I did.
