Greasing the Front End

Are the ball joint boots supposed to be sealed? I installed new UCA and the ball joint boot would slide up around and grease could ooze. Seems abnormal

Factory ones are. Mine had a pin hole in the boot leaking grease and they replaced the entire upper control arm on warranty.

my 17 came from the factory and the dealership with no grease in it. I got it home and crawled under. it must be an option to get a serviced new vehicle.  who is responsible for service?
