L8B conversion?

So recently picked up a '17 LTZ, CCSB, Z71 with the 5.3. after doing some research on the L8B (the 5.3 with ecoassist) I don't think there is anything that technically prevents the addition of this. All the components are the same except the alternator, and some software.

 

I'm curious if anyone else has looked into this as well. I think for the marginal amount of weight increase, the added torque, + the start stop feature would be nice add to some if the older trucks. Thoughts?
