8lug wheels on 1500?

Anyone know if it's possible to put wheels from a 2500 or 3500 on a 1500 truck?

 

I have an LTZ and would like to keep GM chrome wheels but want 18 inch so I have better tire options than the 20 inch wheels that came with the truck. I can't find any 18 inch wheels to match my truck but I see plenty of HD takeoffs I can get for a good deal. 

 

Is this possible?

The possibility is only hindered by how deep your pockets are.

you could get adapters, but just finding the correct 6 lug wheel would be easier.

Broaden your search to 17" wheels and your choices will be even greater!

Not going to be easy or cheap. Gmc has some nice 18” chrome rims if I recall.

Just pop out the center caps.

Some of the GMC wheels are nice. I might look for a set. Thanks for the replies!
