Key removal

I have a co-worker who drives a 17 Chevy Colorado and is saying that she cannot remove the keys from the ignition after putting the truck in park. Only after repeated cycles of turning off and on the ignition can she get the key out. Does GM have an issue with this or is this an isolated issue?

  I’m a little confused by your comment. The number you reference is a bulletin number and not a program/update number. The tech bulletin basically just says the light may come on and stay on for 30 seconds then go away, and that is normal. Is there an update I may have gotten that causes this? And please know I appreciate the help, but im not understanding your question.

  Fair enough, I can see that being a reason. That bulletin was released April 2022. They had 2.5 months to give me a call letting me know the 13k out the door was BS. They also did not tear down my old motor, so really not sure how they inspected the bearing. Either way, truck now having idle issues. I anticipate it going back within the week.
