2005 Silverado A/C

2005 Silverado 4.3. 88°,45% Humidity. In the sun pulling 39.3° at the vent at idle. Is that about rite or can it get better. Thx

Probably fine. Should get a few degrees more when driving.

To achieve optimum:
- clean condensor coils
- clean evap coils (difficult, this is one reason as to why they used to put passenger air filters in front of the coils)
- use full guages and adjust Freon level accordingly

Note that parts degrade with age, so the compressor is probably operating at 90-95% of spec.
