Looking at 2 identical Denali's.  2018 Yukon.

Same price for both.  One has 900 miles but is local.  Second one has 7 miles, out of state but comes with lifetime powertrain warranty.   Kinda torn between the two.  Opinions?   New to forum, always been a ford guy.   Thanks

If you can't get a better deal on the 900 mile one, I'd go for the 7 mile one. But, also consider value of your time to go get it. Lifetime powertrain warranty probably has some fine print like you have to get all scheduled maintenance performed by them or a dealer (vs yourself). If by them, the warranty is not worth much if you're not willing to make that trip.

Exactly what was stated above. When I bought my truck, 2 dealerships offered lifetime power train warranties. Both were out of state. The main difference was the one required all scheduled maintenance be performed by them. The other still requires the scheduled maintenance, but it can be performed by any ASE certified shop and I must keep the documentation. That could be a deal breaker if they have to do it and it's not exactly convenient to get there.
