03 Silverado 4.8L Cold Air Intake?

I have an 03 Silverado 1500 already equipped with a flowmaster exhaust and was thinking about adding a cold air intake to it. Couple questions though,

 

Do i need a programmer?

How about very cold weather? 

Will i be loosing anything if i get it?

How about very cold weather?  Not a problem. The air will be no colder than stock intake. Besides, you have a heated throttle body that helps warm the air somewhat

Will i be loosing anything if i get it? Only $$ imo

Sweet. Just what i like to hear. Gonna order one right now on amazon for $60 thats got some good reviews.
