How much horsepower can stock drivetrain handle

ok im new here and i really dont know how these forums work but i just want to know how much horsepower the motor can make before the 4x4 drivetrain starts breaking things in 2007 to 2014 gmc /chevy trucks

The 6L80 is rated for 469 horsepower and 439 foot pounds of torque.  Rebuilt with the right parts they can handle double that.  The 4L65 in the earlier trucks was rated for about 380 foot pounds of torque.  The 3/4 ton transmissions could handle even more.

I’ve modified plenty of trucks and cars. If you’re not at the track every weekend and put sticky tires on you can get normal life out of the modified vehicle. We’ve modified plenty of diesels too some up to 2 times the stock horsepower and got normal life out of them.
