2012 4.8 to 6.0 swap

Hi, wanting more torque and hp so was looking into bolt ons. Figured out that it seems a swap would be cheaper most likely. So I’m wondering if it’s as easy a swap as I’ve read on some forums? All the posts I have read though were for older 6.0 swaps. 

If the swap is the way to go, which engine am I looking for specifically? And is there any upgrades I should do to the block while I’m at it?

the engine will really depend on what you are trying to spend.  you looking for a junkyard swap or crate engine?  if you are looking for more power and torque you can always throw a cam in it before you install it.  it'll sound badass and it's a lot easier to do before you install it.  also, you could always turbo the 4.8L.  I have read that they can handle a lot of boost.  depending on your budget, that maybe just as cheap with an on3 or huron speed kit.
