Nerf Bars will not fit 2017 Silverado HD Duramax

I recently bought Lund nerf bars from Amazon and they won't fit with the DEF tank.  Amazon garage said they would fit my truck but unfortunately they didn't.  I am looking for black textured nerf bars with the steps that hang down instead of the traditional running board.  Any suggestions?  Do I need to drop my DEF tank down to install, or should I be able to find a set that will install without having to temporarily drop the DEF tank?

Can u send a pic or link to the bars you bought?  Also, do you have factory running boards?  I put Westin's on my truck, but need to modify the bracket by the DEF tank to fit.

I have NFab step bars on my 2018 Duramax and they fit perfect and installation was very easy.  They are not textured, you would have to have that done yourself.
