2015 Silverado paint issue

So I have a 2015 Silverado with 31200 miles on it, bought it brand new in October 31 in 2015. Last year I started notice there were little white looking bubbles on the roof of the truck. They were really hard to see, but since I detail my truck in depth, they were blatant. I took it to Chevy, they told me to clay bar it. I clay bared it and the spots were still there. So I got busy with work and life and put the truck on the back burner. A couple months ago I noticed there are white little micro bubbles everywhere on the truck now... and the ones on the roof quadrupled and some have a black dot in the center now and I can actually feel like a bump

I’d try the dealer again or a different one before your 3year/36k is up. My 15 had one spot on both sides of the rockers where the undercoating (or whatever it is) peeled off with the paint (both sides where bigger than a quarter) took it in because I F’d up my bedside/bumper showed the rockers to the body guy when getting the estimate and he said without batting an eye “we’ll take care of it warranty” when I picked it up it stated on the ticket rockers repainted due to whatever under warranty $0.00. I’m no body guy so not sure if yours is a factory defect or an environmental issue but IMO it would be worth a shot.

Hi, Nicholas. I understand how important it is to have your Silverado’s paint looking good.  If and when you’re considering re-visiting your servicing GM dealership, we would be happy to work alongside them as an additional layer of support.
