I ordered a 2019 from the factory and wanted the Touring exhaust by Borla.  The GM website allowed me to add it and when I took the build sheet to the dealer they stated the exhaust was not compatible with the options I had selected.  Further Q&A with Borla, JEGS and Summit have agreed with me, I can (could I have the truck know) add the exhaust.  Given this is a dealer installed option I can have anyone do the change (including myself).  With that in mind can the Cat-Back™ Exhaust Touring part # 140560 by Borla be installed or am I going to wasting my money due to a compatibility issue?

Out here in MA, any dealer will laugh at you if you ask them to install ANY bolt-on performance part. Just won't happen. In AZ, they'd install superchargers, turbo kits, exhaust systems - you name it. Guess it depends on the state's government.

That part number is coming back for '15-'18 models. I thought the '19's were a complete redesign - if so, I doubt it's going to fit. When my '07 was new, I spent HOURS searching for that Corsa cat-back. Biggest problem was the fact they made an '07 "classic" along side the '07 "new body" - truck was so new, most places didn't even have a listing for the "new body" at the time.

I didn't bother with the dealer with any of my performance stuff (they wouldn't have installed it anyway... even for their $130/hour labor rate) back in '07 when mine was spankin' new. Spent a weekend with my brother and installed everything - Corsa cat back, Westin step rails, Putco Rocket Locker bed rails (that corroded in one winter), a fold up tonneau (that failed in just 2 years), a K&N CAI, and a Hypertech canned program. Everything is still on the truck today, except that crap tonneau I dumped at the scrapyard. Replaced it with a Roll-Bak rollup door style in '10, and that one has been 200x better quality.

Anyway, saved myself about $1,500 in labor.
