GM Bed Side storage boxes

Does anybody have those bed side storage boxes? 

Look a bit pricey, but I like the idea since the bed is wider now and they don't eat space in front. Looks like a good compromise to me.

I love the concept too except one thing ...  

 

Their current design covered up all the tie downs in the bed and I let GM know how bad they screwed up via Twitter.

 

I'm hoping they pulled them for a redesign to fix this major screw up.

I see these aren't on the GMC accessories webpage anymore.  Maybe they are getting a redesign of some kind as Steve noted.

 

Hope they come back, I definitely want to get one for one side.

Out of curiosity I googled the part number to the first box and the resulting search yielded these results. Notice the last link echoes what you guys have seen. 

 

Hopefully they redo them or find a way to make passageways for the tiedowns. A very neat concept.

If you have the short bed they are available now still waiting for the standard bed option
