Kicker VSS Powerstage vs Soundgate

Hi guys, I've been looking at doing a basic upgrade to my sound system and I've decided on a kicker vss system. I know that there are cheaper or better alternatives, but I love the plug and play factory finish, as well as I have some gm cash to burn on accessories. My pickup is a 2015 crew cab 2LT without the Bose system. For those of you with kicker systems, is the powerstage worth the extra money over the soundgate? I'm not that into audio I just want a little more base. My last pickup had Bose and I can my new one just doesnt have quite enough down low.

I had the Power Stage and loved it. I ended up getting rid of it though because I wanted more. lol. I liked how it amped my door speakers. It brought them to life.
