I seen it on the gm site and its like $250 (maybe cheaper from an internet site).  Has a chevy logo.  Anyone have it? Like it?

Will it work with bedrail caps?

Thanks

ryan,

they do have abowtie embossed in them near the back (tailgate end)

they should work with rail caps as they clamp under the rail.

the only thin i don like about the gm ones are snapless and that they use a plastic j channel set up instead of snaps.

just my preference though.

i would look into extang a little less money and a great product good warranty too

Thanks for the reply

I dont want snaps.  I drove my grandpas 97 Sonoma and it had a tonneau with snaps.  PITA

Actually the one I have has snaps, and it takes about 3 minutes for me to take it off or put it back on.  Even if it's freezing outside.  The end of the side rails have 2 rubber spacers you can add or remove depending on the temperature.  Alot easier than the Extang I think.

I have the bowtie tonneau.  I like it. It's a snapless one.  Has plastic runners that you pull up and over the rail and slide into the channels of the tonneau cover rails.  Real easy.  My bedliner has a lip that goes over the front of the bed and I didn't have any problems installing it over that.  Never have water in the bed after a rain or washing the truck either.  I think I got it for about 230 last May. I don't know who actually makes them for GM, but after almost a year on my truck(originally on my 01 Z71), it hasn't faded one bit.  My dad's Sportmaster tonneau on the other hand, has faded pretty bad and he keeps his truck in his garage too.  He's had that one for about 3 years.

Hey Ryan - Did you get those dam* seat covers yet?? - Also, I think I saw on some board that you use Zaino?  If you do, did you do the clay part?  Any tips? - Thanks, L

NO SEAT COVERS YET

I use zaino but didnt clay bar my truck.  I actually used the zaino spray stuff and i like it.  Works nice.  All i need is another day off to wax the back half of the truck

Geez - what'd they do, ship them via China or something?  Thats too bad.  I'm really interested in hearing from you when they arrive to see how you like them.  I have a horse. Getting in and out of the truck after visiting the barn can soil the upholstry pretty quickly, (not to mention the 167 lbs of two Dobermans in the excab, who insist on sticking their heads in the front which gets hair all over the back side of the front seats).   I was looking over the Zaino boards, but there was no info on how difficult or dangerous (i.e. scratches) the clay process can be.  Too many fanatics on the autotopia board to bother asking a simple question on it.  I've just been washing it and using California Gold spray in between - that stuff is pretty nice too.  Thanks and please be sure to let me know when those elusive seat covers get installed.

Ok i go on lunch to the local dealer.  Ask for a price they whip out this small book with part numbers and she hands me the book to confirm (it has the price next to it $269.99).  She punches it into the computer says back $330 something dollars.  I WAS LIKE WTF.  The book and internet says $269 msrp.  She said ok i wont argue with you thats your price ($269).  I was like let me think about it

Crazy

As for the seat covers.  I got a reply back.  It was 10 days to have the custom embroidery done (they didnt tell me that).  They said snce mine is a special non stock order 3-4 wks

Im fine with that
