Color matched (or chrome) tailgate handle assembly?

Is there either a color matched or chrome tailgate handle assembly available for my 2018 1500 Sierra Denali?  I don’t want “stick on” covers though.  Every time I open the tailgate I think to myself that GM forgot to paint it.

Ebay should have chrome handles.

You can get the chrome from GM but to color match you have to get a paint shop to do it and only some will. They will say the paint won’t last but that is if they don’t know what they are doing. I had an 07 one painted in 06 (and the mirror caps) and still looks new and truck is kept outside.

It’s just plastic. Have it painted. Sand smooth, adhesion promoter, prime and paint.

I bought a paint-ready smooth replacement handle from Amazon. It’s not built as heavy as the factory handle. I’ll eventually have the factory handle smoothed and painted.
