transmission slip????

Recommended Posts

I have a 2014 Silverado 5.3 with 61,xxx miles on it.  This past Friday I was at a stoplight and as I was turning left and I'm assuming it was changing from first gear to second because I had to drive forward past the median to go in the direction I was supposed to go.  During the shift my rpms went up for a second between 2,000 and 3,000 then it shifted into second gear.  Is my transmission slipping or was this one of the V4/V8 issues?  I've had this truck for about 3-4 months now and this is the only time it has happened and hasn't done it since.  I hope I haven't confused everyone by trying to explain it. Any help would be appreciated.

Mines doing something similar, 2015 with 52k. I would be interested in knowing what the answer is. Going to take it into the dealer next week

They will run codes see none and test drive it. Then return keys and say it's normal.
