Bull Bar-GMC

Does anyone have a bull bar on the front of their 2014-2018?  I was thinking of buying with the rough country or black horse with the LED bar already in it.

There seems to be two frames of thought here.

Some like the look of them and that's why they get them. Can also hold up to low forces.

Others won't get them because they don't hold up to high force incidents and can do more damage to your front end in an accidental if you just didn't have one.

 

Just from my reference, last week I saw an accident where a dude with a grille guard rear ended a small car at around 30mph. That grille guard did nothing but smoosh itself into the guys bumper, grille, headlights and fenders. I guarantee if he didn't have that he would have just had bumper damage.

 

Now I've seen some posts here with images of bull bars, trying using Google search instead of this forum search. Search for "bull bars site:gm-trucks.com" in Google.
