2017 Sierra - chatter or squeeling from front of engine

Today while idling, I noticed my 2017 GMC Sierra All terrain (5.3) has a chatter while idling. I revved the engine and the noise doesn't get louder. I popped the hood and it appears the noise is coming from the front of the engine near the belt area. Do these trucks have issues with tensioners or does anybody have a clue what it could be? Possibly the water pump, or tensioner? anybody else experienced a noise or chatter/squeak?

 

I am really regretting this purchase as it appears this truck just keeps having issue after issue. Noisy rear leaf springs/clunky transmission, now a chattering engine... absolutely ridiculous and very frustrating

My squeak from the front engine area ended up being a bad water pump.  If you have a mechanics stethescope, it’s pretty easy to pinpoint the noise.

I’m leaning towards water pump too. Should that be covered under powertrain?

Just an update.. my faint squeal or noise from the front of the engine ended up being the water pump... covered under power train warranty.

 

They replaced the belt, water pump assembly and fresh coolant, no noises.
