Infotainment center not working

I'm having issues. 2016 Chevrolet Silverado LT. Two days ago, got in the truck and infotainment screen was black. Radio played through the speakers 15 seconds after turning key but screen stayed black. No bluetooth connectivity and had to control radio with steering controls. After 10 minutes of driving, steering controls are lost and can't control radio station or volume. When exiting the truck, the radio plays without the key in the ignition for 30 to 45 seconds with nobody in the truck. I have disconnected the battery and that doesn't work. Dealer wants $125 just to take a look. Any help is appreciated.

$125.00 does not sound that bad, if they can find something. Most problems are going to be the battery (is it original), battery cables, ground points, or maybe you just have a bad head unit. The nice thing is, anything can be fixed, just figure out which route/how much time you want to spend doing it yourself.
