radio problems

I have a 2011 Chevy Silverado with the standard am/fm/cd/mp3 jack. I took it in for an oil change and to have a tire pressure sensor valve stem fixed. When I picked the truck up I turned the radio on and the display started to blink  rapidly on and off. There was no sound coming from it. In fact the turn signal and other warning chimes were not playing out of the driver speaker. I went back to the dealer and asked them about it. They said that the radio must have just "gone out" and I needed to replace the old one. 

I pulled the BCM fuse and the radio fuse trying to maybe reset it but it didn't work. Today I go out and the battery is dead. Anyone experience a similar problem with the blinking radio?

Unfortunately they are right. The radio is just shorted internally. Replace the radio and have it reprogrammed.
