04 Sub replaced belts, now AC blows warm

04 Suburban with 200,000 miles and rear AC.

I had the belts replaced and now my ACs don’t blow cold.  The front AC is warm to slightly cool and the rear AC is somewhat cool but nowhere near what is used to be.   Outside temps here have been 60s and humid so it is kind of difficult to tell.

Is there something that could have been screwed up when the belts were replaced?

thanks

There is a tsb for, compressor slugging, basically getting liquid in compressor, causing erratic behavior, start, slow, brief stop,do you see the belt whipping?

Probably a small leak somewhere. My 01 burb had a leak at the pressure sensor. Tiny leak requiring a top off every 9-10 months. Did that for 3-4 years before finally finding it and fixing.

There is nothing that you could do installing a belt that would make the AC not cool other than not installing it at all. If the Belt is on, and is turning while the motor is turning... It is on correctly.

Does the compressor clutch come on and turn off when the AC button is pressed?

So apparently is was the compressor fuze.  Everything works now.

Weird, but glad it wasn’t something more expensive.

The only issue with this is, Fuses don't blow themselves. Something caused it to blow and if jut replace the fuse it will blow again if no repairs are done.

Yep I’m keeping a close eye on it.

I think maybe the shop screwed something up, but I’m out of town for work so much I don’t have time to do maintenance myself anymore.

Replaced compressor & condensor

Let me know if it blows the fuse again. I can get you schematics if needed.
