99Silver6.0 Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 Looks pretty cool. 410hp with a Radix and a $29000 price tag. I guess they have a few other "special options" to give it some extra oomph!! Chapman Super Trucks
doverarjim Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 What is it with those Arizona auto dealers? Can anyone here remember the Moncho Trans Am or Moncho Z-28? Those both came from an Arizona dealer. After living in the Az heat it must really do something to their brains!!! I spent 11 years out there and I was a motor head to the max but I'm not sure I would go back. Chapman has been in the car business a long time and made lots of money so they have the time and equitment let them roll em out.
Wingnut Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 This truck was made in the same spirit.....What the SS could be for under $30k
sonjaab Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 WING.........Funny you should mention a SS for under 30k! In todays Syracuse NY paper a dealer has a used 03 SS with 3000 miles for $29,995. Its prob. a GM lemon buyback tho....This dealer got bagged and fined by the NY attorney general for NOT disclosing it was selling GM buybacks ! I looked at used 02 Caddys there last year. The salesman DENIED that they were ex-rentals or buy backs...................geo
elboberino Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 The Chapman truck with the Raddix system is friggin awesome. A bunch of dealerships down in the valley have special truck packages. Coutesy Chevrolet has the Chevy Thunder package but it is not even close to the Raddix system. That's why I love Arizona, everyone has a sweet package when it comes to trucks.
gmcjoe Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 Will the REAL Silverado SS please stand up.... The shop here in Detroit a buddy works at did a bit of the development on this truck http://joegibbsperformance.com/ Eaton Generation V “Roots” type supercharger/intercooler system conservatively rated at 395 horsepower and 425 foot pounds of torque The brochure I have shows the RCSB and an Ext Cab version :smokin: :rocking: :rocking: :rocking:
99-2door Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 This truck was made in the same spirit.....What the SS could be for under $30k "Tight and textured black rubber flooring" You can bet this truck started life as a V6 base model.
