About to buy 2018 2500 dmax

Have a 2016 2500hd gasser, and plan to buy a 2018 leftover.  Should be a goood deal, but want to ask if there are any issues with 2018 MY that I should be aware of.  

Loved the gasser, but just did not have the torque to pull my boat in some situations.  Since I bought it at a great price, and it has really low miles, I am going to get a great deal.  

 

Any advice or concerns?

Main problems that I hear about are all emission control stuff, actual engine is fine, just the crap our government makes them put on sucks.

Well the Dmax has plenty of torque. What they don't have is great acceleration (except when towing 10k).

 

I mean the 6.0 is a great engine, you have to rev it when towing over 6k....

L5P acceleration is great. Trans cooler line rubbing and satilitte antenna leaking has been only issues I had but dealer fixed.

Thanks, I was basing my notes on the older LML. I have heard the L5P is much faster.

I am basing that on my "old" LML.   LOL
