Virus Patch Email??

Anybody know anything about a virus patch email from [email protected]? My mom got 2 emails from this address with an attachment saying she should install this patch to prevent getting a virus. I told her to leave it alone until I heard back from some of you guys about what i tmay be. It sounds like it could be a hoax to me, with a virus on the attachment.

It is a hoax. DO NOT OPEN IT! Microsoft never sends patches through e-mail.

Actually if you look carefully, it is from Equifax (the credit rating company, one of them anyways). It looks like Equifax's mail system was broken into. The mail administrator tried to send a warning out, but with the number of times the hoaxs were sent, I don't think anyone saw it.
