Dissable E-Brake alarm/light

The only way I can figure out to get rid of the automatic headlights is to lightly apply the E-brake. However the light and a warning alarm continuously go off. How do I get rid of this?

I don't know how to do what your requesting, but I do have an alternative idea for you if your wanting to do this on your '99. Buy a BCM from a 2001 or higher GM truc/SUV, and you will then have the ability to turn off your auto headlights by pressing the dome override button a few times within a few seconds. You'll also get the option to program your door locks to several different lockin/unlocking combo's. I've seen BCM's on E-bay for $15-$20, and it's a simple plug and play mod, but you do have to do a certain procedure so the computer and the new BCM can "talk". You can get those procedures here at GMTC if you need tham. Then you won't have to do anything with your e-brake at all.
