Aluminum UCA’s

Trying to level my 2018 Silverado and apparently GM decided to cheap out on the UCA’s and started doing stamped steel instead of aluminum. In my quest for aluminum UCA’s for my truck I was told they don’t make them for that year model so my question is does anyone know if you can use the aluminum ones from a 2016 model on the 2018’s? I’m trying to avoid spending too much extra money just to replace UCA’s.

I thought they were all updated from Aluminum to Stamped Steel?

They were. That’s why I have to change them in order to put my 2.5” level on my truck. If they were aluminum like the ones on my 2015 then I wouldn’t have to worry about it, but now I guess I’m forced to buy new ones.
