Knockoff bow ties from eBay?

I was looking at maybe doing some black bow ties and came across various listings on eBay for quite obviously, aftermarket knockoffs. Has anyone purchased them before? Is it worth it to save more than 50% or did you just bite the bullet and get the OEM ones?

Bought a rear one from truckchainz on ebay, couldn't tell a difference between the original and the aftermarket as far as quality.

Plasti dip your factory if your worried about price. Check out dipyourcar.com for tips/tricks and custom colors. I did the front one on my 3/4 ton white and it lasted 5+ years before needing a redo and held up fine with minimal maintenance.

 

Did the interior bow-tie on my 1/2 ton 2 years ago with the regular black from and home store and it almost matches the steering wheel center perfectly. Even with tinted windows the sun shined off the chrome and blinded me...
