How hard is the installation? How did you like it?
I'd be interested in getting it for my truck. It would work on 2014 models right?

Install is all plug & play. The hardest part would be getting the trim off around the screen.
I loved it. I had a front camera hooked to it & it worked flawless. My kids would watch Netflix & you tube on it when truck was parked.

That is great and the right way to use it, I wonder how many idiots are going to be getting this so they can watch their favorite shows while driving. This is one feature that should never be allowed to use while moving, period.

I was thinking about something like that for my Equinox.  I’m assuming it only mirrors.  Therefore, if you have a program on the screen, you cannot use the touchscreen function of your vehicle.  In other words, there’s no two way communication to your phone.  You control apps with your phone and the screen just displays.  Is that correct?

For my truck, I would love a front camera.

I'm going to call them.  I had looked at their site before, and I did see the mirroring unit.  I don't recall seeing it before, but now they have a unit they say has Apple Play.  I'm hoping they wouldn't call it Apple Play if it doesn't have the ability to work through the touch screen in the vehicle.  That would be great.

This idiot already did.  I have an MVI modded system and my daughter loves to watch DVD movies on it on road trips.

That should be left to the driver to decide.

Correct. You cannot communicate from screen to the phone.

So everything is controlled via the phone. How is the reaction time? Do you connect via Bluetooth or via a cable? What's would be the difference between this and like Android Auto play it whatever it is called?

Reaction time is instant. Connect via a cable. Screen mirror is controlled from the phone. Not sure about the android auto. I run apple so it comes with apple lightning connector which is around $65 can to buy.
