4L60E Interchangeability

Hi, I’ve got a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 4X4 with a blown tranny. I’m going to get a used tranny and swap them myself, and I’ve located a 2006 4L60E out of a 4X4 Avalanche that was rebuilt not long ago. My question is, are the Avalanche and Silverado 4L60Es interchangeable? I know the Avalanche transmissions are built in Mexico rather than Toledo like the Silverado/Tahoe/Suburban transmissions. I’ve already verified that both the transmission in my truck and the donor truck are pre-ISS sensor era and have green connectors. Both trucks are 5.3s as well, so in theory, I don’t see why they shouldn’t be 100% interchangeable. But If I’m wrong, it wouldn’t be the first time.

 

Any input on this matter would be greatly appreciated!
