Low oil alert

I am about 2000 miles over my oil change mileage. On my way home I get an alert about my oil being low. I had to add 2 quarts and the dip stick showed full. Any ideas what happened? Looked high and low, no oil anywhere.

Wow that sensor is super low in pan. I know I removed the lower mini pan and saw it. I ran on 7quarts for over a week. I did it on purpose but still no light. Just the connection but when it is unplugged it doesnt post anything so I would say you are really low.

It can't be from consumption though, not that much. Or am I wrong?

Well it either has to leak on the ground, into the coolant, vacuum pump, or gets burned in the cylinders if it wasn’t stolen...

 

Who did the last oil change? Was it on the dipstick to start with?

 

How many miles/idle hours on it?

It was on the dipstick when I first checked it.
